Our exceptional, friendly staff is our greatest asset. They are excited about what they do, and they care personally about getting the best results for our patients.
Our receptionists will try to accommodate your busy schedule by finding appointments that suit your needs. We will help you understand your insurance coverage and if financial arrangements are necessary, we will be glad to help you develop a plan to make your vision care treatment possible.
Sherree joined Ballard Vision Associates in 2007 after moving with her husband from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She has been in the eye care field for over 30 years, and is a true jack-of-all-trades. She is the one person who can answer any question you may have and is happy to provide any assistance that you may need. She is often accused of being Dr. Ballard’s “work wife”, and with her dry sense of humor she has the nickname among the staff as “the meanest person”. (Sherree does not agree with this.) She loves good food, good wine, and 90’s and 2000’s alternative music.
Sara joined Ballard Vision Associates in early 2012 after moving to Nashville from Buffalo, NY. She has worked in the eye care field since 2007, and will guide you through the important preliminary tests during your visit before seeing Dr. Ballard. She is a die-hard Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan, but part of her employment required that she also become a Nashville Predator and Tennessee Titan fan. We are still working on that…
Tracy joined Ballard Vision Associates in 2015, and has been in the eye care field since 2005. Tracy is a “jack of all trades” and helps in most areas of our practice. You can trust her to guide you through the clinical part of your visit, as well as helping you with eyewear and lens selection. If you are a first time contact lens wearer chances are Tracy will be your “teacher” showing you how to insert/remove and take care of your new contact lenses. She also can help navigate your insurance benefits and answer most questions you may have. Tracy is a native of Nashville, loves are her family (especially her grandson!), as well as classic muscle cars and motorcycles.
David is the newest addition to our practice, joining Ballard Vision Associates in 2017. Some of you may recognize him from a local veterinarians office. After many years in the veterinary field and some brainwashing by our staff, David decided to bring his friendly, outgoing, helpful personality to the human world, and is proving to be quite the asset to our practice. David can help you navigate your insurance benefits, schedule your appointment and answer most questions you may have. David is very involved in his local church and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
